The final weeks work
Image above: The HaSS Economics and Business concept wheel
Hi all
The following presentation completes the work on the Australian Curriculum: HaSS for our course. In particular, it has a summary of the geography sustainability concept and the Australian Curriculum Cross Curriculum Sustainability priority. The presentation also has the material on the Economics and Business component of the HaSS curriculum and what I am expecting you to do in the last week we are together. This week we are doing the sustainability concept, creative teaching ideas and a look at the concept of learning sequence that is expected in your unit plan.
Final presentation to look at on sustainability and economics and business
So in short:
1. Come along this week with your learning sequence draft for discussion. The following two downloads may help your planning:
* Ideas for creative teaching
* Developing the learning sequence
2. Check out your local area for efforts to make it more sustainable - be prepared to discuss.
3. Watch the presentation above - you can download from Dropbox by clicking on the link.
4. Take note that for the last week I will expect a double entry journal on an entrepreneur for you to present to the group with an idea for selling/marketing.
